| This was a nostalgic recollection of my childhood holidays. We had a beach house at Moffat Headland at Caloundra (ours was the only house on the street). The track to the beach passed through Wallum scrub and skirted a tea tree swamp. Shelley Beach was too dangerous for swimming but I spent many hours exploring the track, playing on the beach and discovering the fascinating sea creatures in the rock pools. |
